The Diploma in International Financial Reporting is an internationally recognized qualification in financial accounting using International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / IAS). It is accredited by the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) and is aimed at accounting and finance professionals who already have experience in accounting.

The DipIFR course is designed to develop your knowledge and understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards and learn how to apply them.


Upon completion of the diploma candidates should be able to:

Understand, explain and apply the IASB's Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting

Apply relevant financial reporting standards to key elements of financial reports

Identify and apply disclosure requirements in financial reports and notes

Prepare group financial statements including subsidiaries, associates and joint arrangements.

Employees with one or two years of working experience in financial accounting and reporting

DipIFR Exam

The diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) is assessed by a single three - hour,
written exam.


The examination is divided into two sections.

Section A: includes a computational question
Section B: contains a mix of computational and discursive questions.

  • 3 hours

Testing Windows

The exam is held twice a year - in June and December at ACCA's exam centers.
